Black Leadership Ambassadors for Culture and Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.)

Black Leadership Ambassadors for Culture and Knowledge (B.L.A.C.K.) is an ambassador (mentorship) program established by the Black males of the UC Davis African Continuum group. Our goals for this ambassadors program are to provide Black male students with the knowledge, skills and abilities they need to successfully adjust and transition to campus life at UC Davis. The keys to making this ambassadors program successful will involve the guidance and leadership of all Black male faculty and staff.

We, in the African Continuum, would cordially like to invite you to get involved.

As Fall quarter approaches, we plan on rolling out this new program to the 96 newly admitted Black male students at UC Davis. In an effort to create a positive environment around this program, we will be planning a series of events in hopes of attracting these young men to apply to participate. All we ask is that you give this some thought  as you are planning your year's commitments and activities.  In the coming weeks, one of our events will be to host a mixer in hopes of generating interest from both our incoming students and you, our UC Davis faculty and staff.

On behalf of the Black males of the African Continuum, and in hopes of fostering meaningful relationships through B.L.A.C.K
