About Bonnie Marcus

Bonnie Marcus started her corporate career at an entry-level position while juggling life as a single mom raising two young children. Using her savvy political and promotional skills to work her way up the ladder, she eventually went on to run a national company. Marcus understands the difficulty of managing a challenging career on top of a demanding personal life, and now works to encourage and equip women to embrace the hard realities of the workplace and achieve professional success. As an international speaker, executive coach, writer and radio host, she helps women women learn to be sensitive to the culture of their organization, embrace the politics of the corporate world, and actively, intentionally move their careers forward with a sound strategic plan.

Marcus has more than 20 years of sales and management experience, holding executive positions at both startups and Fortune 500 companies, including CEO of a ServiceMaster company and vice president in sales at Medical Staffing Network.

In 2006 Marcus became a certified executive coach with the passion and mission to help other women achieve career success. She provides private and corporate coaching for women looking to develop their leadership potential.

As an internationally sought after speaker, Marcus shares her business insights to thousands of women at prominent events like Harvard Business School Dynamic Women in Business Conference, MIT Sloan School of Management, Wharton Women in Business Conference, and Massachusetts Conference for Women.

Marcus is the founder of the online platform Women’s Success Coaching, which Forbes honored as one of the “Top 100 Websites for Professional Women” three years in a row, stating it “weighs on the many building blocks of empowering women in business, from assertive communication to self promotion to sensitivity training.”

For several years, Marcus hosted the CBS syndicated radio show, “GPS Your Career: A Woman’s Guide to Success,” which provided practical tips and resources for professional women to succeed in business to an audience of two million listeners per year.
