Send in your nominations related to the topic of intersection of racial and LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual) identities. Information on nominating a book can be found here. Nominations are due July 1, 2016.

The mission of the Diversity Education Program is to provide various educational opportunities for students, staff and faculty related to cultural awareness, the Principles of Community, and the development of a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.
The Campus Community Book Project was initiated to promote dialogue and build community by encouraging members of the campus and greater community to read the same book and attend related events. The book project advances the Office of Campus Community Relations' mission of promoting community relations, equity and diversity by creating an inclusive campus climate.
The mission of the UC Davis Community Engagement Program is to facilitate partnerships between the University and diverse groups of our community that have not heretofore had well-developed relationships with our campus.The focus is to sponsor activities and promote community leadership strategies that bring campus and community interests together; and to foster effective interfaces between the campus and general community that promote a welcoming environment and advance the standing of UC Davis in the region.
The Campus Council on Community and Diversity is an advisory body to the Chancellor and the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor. The overarching responsibility for the Council is to provide both campus leaders and the campus community with advice concerning ways to strengthen and maintain the bonds of community at UC Davis.
UC Davis celebrates its diversity throughout the campus and throughout the year.
The UC Davis Police Accountability Board (PAB) is an independent board composed of UC Davis students, staff and faculty. Working with independent campus investigators from the Office of Compliance and Policy, the board impartially reviews investigative reports related to allegations of UC Davis police misconduct.
