Hate Crime and Bias Incident Reporting

If you believe you have witnessed, or that you have been a target of, a hate- or bias-motivated incident on campus or while participating in a University-sponsored activity, you may bring the incident to the attention of the Associate Executive Vice Chancellor and other University Officials as indicated below:

To report an emergency or a crime in progress, CALL 9-1-1.

If you would like to initiate a criminal investigation, call the University Police at 530-752-1230, as soon as possible.

The Associate Executive Vice Chancellor is available to provide you with answers to questions you may have about your options, with advice, and/or referrals. You may contact the Office of Campus Community Relations at 530-752-2071 to report the incident or complete the form below. If you elect to submit the Incident Report Form, your report will be reviewed by the Associate Executive Vice Chancellor and steps will be initiated to address the issue. The Office of Campus Community Relations may be able to resolve the issue through an educational process.
