Hate Crime and Bias Incident Reporting

If you believe you have witnessed, or that you have been a victim of, a hate- or bias-motivated incident on campus or while participating in a University-sponsored activity, you may report the incident to the Office of Campus Community Relations and other University Officials as indicated below:

To report an emergency or a crime in progress, CALL 9-1-1.

If you would like to initiate a criminal investigation, call the University Police at 530-752-1230, as soon as possible.

Rahim Reed, Associate Executive Vice Chancellor of the Office of Campus Community Relations, and the OCCR staff are available to answer your questions, discuss options, and provide referrals.  You may contact Vickie Gomez, Early Resolution Officer, to report the incident by phone at 530-752-2158 or email vlgomez@ucdavis.edu.  If you wish to report anonymously, be assured your privacy will be protected in accordance with your wishes and University Policy.  Your report will be reviewed and steps will be initiated to address the issue.
